Jay Kemmerer Author Investment Advisor Headshot

Jay R. Kemmerer entered the securities industry in 1984. He has been educating business and individual clients in the areas of wealth management for over 34 years. Collectively, his firm has over 50 years of experience. During his portfolio management tenure for a locally managed mutual fund, he received recognition in the Wall Street Journal’s “Category King” segment numerous times from 2003 – 2010.

Jay currently holds his Series 65 License-Registered Investment Advisor, and serves as Chairman & CEO of Berkshire Advisors, Inc. He also holds several other industry related licenses which allow him to render “Financial Education” around numerous financial subject matters.

Mr. Kemmerer recently released his second book ”33 Ways Not to Screw Up Your Financial Life.” The 33 tips in the book are short, and more direct about how you can make quick changes to improve your financial life today. This is one book in the “33 ways series.” A series written by 3 other authors with a focus on entrepreneur success tips.

He is also the author of “Messages from the Money Masters,” a book which highlights the best financial, investment, and spending plan disciplines that you can incorporate into your daily personal and business life. The “Masters” are among some of the most highly recognized and respected “Financial Experts” today. The messages shared are by Warren Buffett, David Bach, Suze Orman, Dave Ramsey, Robert Kiyosaki, Lori Greiner, Daymond John, Harry Dent, Tony Robbins, Ronald Baron, Napoleon Hill and Mike Michalowicz.  Jay delivers these messages in a simple to understand, yet profound manner in order to implement financial strategies easily and strategically.

Holly Wolf

With over 30 years of diverse business experience, Holly Wolf has worked in a variety of senior level positions in health care, banking, and manufacturing. Held key positions as VP of Marketing at the  Sovereign Center (now the Santander Arena), Director of Marketing at  Conestoga Bank (now WSFS), and Chief Marketing Officer at  SOLO Labs. Holly is an admitted personal finance junkie. Her personal finance philosophy has been influenced by money masters including Suze Ormond, Dave Ramsey, Larry Burkett, Harry Gross, and David Bach. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, Gary.  

Melissa G. Wilson

Melissa G. Wilson is a fifteen-year veteran expert on the subject of networking and was the “Networking Coach” at 6 Figure Jobs teaching 3000 executives at LinkedIn over a 10-year period. Melissa has authored seven books on the subject, including one titled, “Networlding”, that held a #10 spot on Amazon for an entire year and one that was a Wallstreet Journal bestseller.

Over the last decade, Melissa has turned her passion for writing books that make a difference in the world to helping thought leaders who want to accomplish these same goals. Thus far she has helped over 120 C-level experts, write, publish, and launch their books. From Inc. 500 to Fortune 500 executives, Melissa has become their go-to for book creation.

Melissa also now runs an initiative to help at-risk youth get mentored through the power of great books by her executive leadership authors.

Rick Wolf

Rick Wolf has served as a teacher, coach and servant leader for almost 50 years.  His philosophy of embracing a positive attitude while serving others became his trademark, and serves as the operational basis for his organization, Embrace the Challenge, LLC. Currently Rick serves as an organizational and executive coach to individuals, nonprofits and corporate entities.  He also enjoys spending time with his wife and three grandchildren, playing golf, trap and writing.

Keith Ordemann

Keith is a highly skilled, responsive and proactive CPA with prior experience as a Tax Partner with Ernst & Young and full-time roles as a CFO and CEO for several operating companies. Currently he provides multi-generational family office services and part-time CFO services to his clientele. The family office services include a wide range of duties such as independent trustee for multiple trusts, comprehensive tax and estate planning, coordination with investment and legal advisors, individual, trust and corporate tax preparation, practice before the IRS, bookkeeping, bill-paying for trusts and special needs trust accounting and reporting.

Beth Long

Beth serves as the Vice President of Client Relations for the day-to-day activities of Berkshire Advisor’s clients and supporting custodian, Charles Schwab. She brings 25 years of administrative experience in the Financial Planning industry.  Beth has been involved in assisting clients with her understanding and education in customer service, underwriting, succession planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.  Beth holds her Life/Health/Annuities license.   She is currently pursuing her “RIA”- Registered Investment Advisor license.
When not in the office, Beth enjoys spending time with her husband, Chad, their 4 children, and 3 dogs.  She has a passion for cooking and enjoys sharing her creations with family and friends

Kemmerer, Jr., (aka JR) is a dedicated professional with a passion for empowering individuals to achieve their financial goals and secure their future.  With a diverse background in the financial service industry, he is committed to making a positive impact on people’s lives through effective planning and guidance.

As a skilled insurance and tax-sheltered specialist, he brings valuable expertise to the industry. JR is currently pursuing his “RIA”- Registered Investment Advisor license. He is currently being sponsored through a multi-year internship by the SEC Registered Firm, Berkshire Advisors, Inc. of Wyomissing, PA. 

JR’s previous endeavors had him engaged as a dedicated manager in the hospitality industry. JR has continually demonstrated his unwavering commitment to excellence, and leadership.

His primary objective is to extend guidance to the underserved, younger entrepreneurs and business owners equipping them with the tools and strategies needed to create lasting wealth.  Whether it’s establishing retirement accounts, Tax-Sheltered Solutions, or offering advice on budgeting and credit score repair, he is passionate about helping others build a secure financial future.
